LACSA of Avianca/TACA gets permission to fly San Jose, Costa Rica to Medellin
As part of a package of approvals from the Colombian civil aviation authorities Costa Rican carrier Lacsa, part of the Avianca/TACA group has been authorized to operate a flight four times per week between San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica, and Colombia's second largest city Medellin. Also German carrier Lufthansa has approval to operate a five times weekly Frankfurt - Bogota - Frankfurt flight.
Aero Republica has approvals for three weekly return flights between Cucuta and Panama City; seven weekly return flights from Bogota to the Puerto Rican capital of San Juan with a stop in Panama city; seven weekly return flights between Bogota and the Honduran city of San Pedro Sula with a stop in Panama City, seven weekly return flights between Bogota and the Nicaraguan capital city Managua with a stop in Panama City; and seven weekly return flights between Bogota and Cancun via Panama City.
Colombian carrier Avianca can fly two weekly flights between Pereira and San Andres. Plus a twice weekly flight between El Salvador and Bogota via Curacao.
Colombian airline Aires plans twice weekly flights between Bogota and Mitu, Puerto Carreño and Puerto Inirida with Bogota to San Jose del Guaviare operating six times per week.
