Aruba

A sunshine destination, Aruba, has lots to offer in terms of activities both during the day and in the evenings. There is world-class windsurfing, water-skiing, diving, fishing and of course sunbathing. At night there is choice of cabarets, discos, live music shows and exotic drinks.
The capital, Oranjestad, has a distinctively Dutch flavour with pastel coloured buildings and some good shops. Take a walk along the harbour to the waterfront market and see the fisherman selling fresh fish.

An interesting museum is the Aruba Aloe Balm Museum. Aruba was once the largest exporter of Aloe. The museum exhibits 160 years of Aruba's Aloe and how farmers harvest the gel using century old techniques.

Flights to Aruba with Avianca

Queen Beatrix International Airpor, in Oranjestad, Aruba, is a fairly large aviation facility that has flight services to the United States, most countries in the Caribbean, the northern coastal countries of South America and some parts of Europe, notably the Netherlands. It was named after Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, the head of state of Aruba.
